Help raising money for DNA barcoding globally by making your barcoding project known to iBoL

iBOL (or iBOL ICI) is a Canadian campaign for raising money nationally/locally worldwide, working towards the global barcode of life. Money raised internationally may then be matched by Canadian funding. To make Europe a central node in the global DNA barcoding campaign, Europe has to come up with at least € 18 M. You can help making iBOL work.

Projects applied for on or after the 1st September 2006 count towards iBOL if they are for eligible costs to directly support the objectives of the iBOL ICI. If there are plans to use existing funds, then it needs to be shown that this a new use of the funds i.e. not for which they were originally approved and there must be confirmation from the source of funds that they can be used to specifically support the objectives of the iBOL ICI. If you have recently received funding or directed existing funds towards DNA barcoding, and wish to make this known within iBOL please get in touch (barcodeATcbs.knaw.nl).
